Can I embed CocoonCarbon® into my website or platform?
Yes. You can embed CocoonCarbon® as an iframe widget to allow customers or users to calculate emissions for individual shipments directly from your website. This is ideal for adding value and meeting client sustainability goals.
Does iFrame for CocoonCarbon® support multimodal shipments?
Yes, it can but only single shipments. So you can build a door to door shipment using the drop downs in the form.
Is it free to use the iFrame?
Unfortunately you have to pay a small fee of £60+VAT per year to use the iFrame. As you can imagine the data is quite popular and we got hit by AI Bots harvesting our data and put extra strain on our servers. So you have to pay.
What the difference between the iFrame and the Portal?
The iFrame only gives you basic information and is generic. You can only search for one shipment at a time. Where as the portal you can upload 10 or 10,000 shipments in one go or integrate your systems to the portal. The portal is more advanced and is more accurate as we can identify vessels and vehicle types more accurately.
Do i need technical knowledge to embed the iFrame?
No, if your using WordPress or a site builder you can just simply copy and paste the code we provide into your website. You then just need to refresh the browser and then your good to go.
